I do not often feel compelled to write a review, however, in this case I should.This science fiction story was un-like any I have read. I read allot, around one book a week.
Charles Pitts writing is unique; it's as if it comes from someones mind, sometimes not cohesive but still flows properly.
I will look forward to the continuing of The Legend's Gate book 2, Son of Samuel as Charles Pitts calls it.
I expect Charles's writing will also improve to be more cohesive.
Charles has a very realistic imagination, I felt everything he wrote was real or wish it was real. That is very good. Maybe I'm just a romantic but his idea of what, how who of the Universe is compelling. I wan to read more of his work. I also feel this should be on his Goodreads.com page.

This is a fun fast paced read with lots of characters that hold your interests throughout.
Author has a talent for describing things so you can easily imagine yourself in the midst of the action.
If you like sci-fi that takes you to wild places with characters you care about...you need to read this book!!
This is the first book I've read from this author and was pleasantly surprised by the fun characters found throughout the book. The main character will remind you of anyone who's stuck in a job they don't like and at the beginning you have to feel bad for Samuel as his life really really sucks until he stumbles onto alien technology that changes his life forever. Definitely a fun and fast paced read. I can hardly wait for book 2.
